Parmaco has partnered with SSAB to build a pioneering structure made entirely of fossil-free steel, an initiative set to begin in early 2025. This innovative project will use SSAB’s HYBRIT technology, eliminating most fossil carbon emissions typically associated with steelmaking. According to Olavi Huhtala, EVP of SSAB Europe, the collaboration aims to demonstrate sustainable construction practices to meet urban development needs while reducing climate impact.

Proxify will attend Web Summit in Lisbon from November 11-14 as a Growth Startup. They will showcase their remote developer solutions at their exhibition on November 12, and on November 13, CEO Viktor Janrheimer will present the keynote "Is it remote if you can’t tell?" on Stage 6, Pavilion 2, sharing insights from extensive industry experience. 

On November 14, Proxify will host a discussion at the Swedish Booth, organized by the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce under Brand Sweden, focusing on boosting developer productivity. Web Summit gathers over 70,000 attendees, 1,000 investors, and 3,000 startups globally.

IN Amsterdam arranges Career Workshop

Stegra, formerly H2 Green Steel, is spearheading a transformative initiative within the Swedish steel industry. The company is constructing a state-of-the-art steel mill in Boden, targeting a reduction in CO₂ emissions—currently accounting for about eight percent of global emissions—by up to 95%.

Though the facility is still under construction, major clients such as BMW, Volkswagen, and IKEA have already committed to substantial green steel purchases from Stegra, underscoring their dedication to this mission.

Supported by funding from international banks and the Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK), Stegra will harness renewable energy from hydropower and wind, replacing coal with green hydrogen in its production processes.
