Life saving innovation, talent-shortage solutions and resilient IT-Ops honoured with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2025.

The Awards were presented by the jury and the Ambassador of Sweden at the Annual Exclusive Lucia Dinner in Amsterdam Thursday, 4 December 2025.


In recognition of their exceptional performance in the Dutch market and beyond, we are honoured to give three Swedish-related companies the Swedish Chamber Business Awards 2025: AstraZeneca, Proxify and Einar & Partners!


Swedish Chamber Patron Member AstraZeneca receives the prestigious Achievement Award for its strong innovation, sustainability and societal benefit, supported by its Swedish heritage. The Entrepreneurship prize goes to Swedish Chamber Member Proxify for its disruptive model to target talent shortage in global tech markets. Their tangible results in the Dutch market, combined with high-quality talent network and strong growth, collectively exemplify entrepreneurial excellence. Swedish Chamber Member Einar & Partners wins the Tech for Good Award for its resilient, scalable IT Operations that prevents large-scale digital failures that can have far-reaching economic and social consequences.

Sustainability & Innovation Summit

Bringing together executives, policymakers, academics, and innovators from Sweden and the Netherlands, the Summit offered rich perspectives on how we can collectively tackle today’s sustainability challenges while shaping tomorrow’s innovative solutions.

With distinguished speakers, the sessions explored Sweden’s global leadership in fossil-free innovation as well as the evolving landscape of AI and tech autonomy.

Annual Exclusive 

Lucia Dinner

This magical evening filled with tradition, music, celebration, and Swedish hospitality marked a festive end to the Chamber’s 65th anniversary year. We are grateful to everyone who helped make the night unforgettable, from the Swedish Julbord and Business Award Ceremony to the Lucia procession, entertainment, and charity raffle, where we gathered over 1800 euros to support Het Vergeten Kind.

Building Resilient and Sustainable Value Chains

The Swedish Chamber was honoured to join Stratsys’ event at the Ambassador’s residence in The Hague, hosted with Ambassador Julius Liljeström and Business Sweden, on building resilient and sustainable value chains.


Experts including Anna Lindstedt (Stratsys) and Jai Tjin-A-Ton and Sander Pieters (Conclusion Consulting) shared insights, sparking a lively discussion on strengthening efficiency, sustainability, and resilience. The event highlighted how closely Dutch and Swedish companies align in their commitment to responsible supply chains and meaningful impact - an inspiring example of Swedish–Dutch collaboration.

   
   

Sweden’s Most Respected Companies 2025

According to the latest 2025 survey from Reputation and Trust Analytics, IKEA remains the most reputable company in Sweden, scoring impressively in trust, reliability and overall corporate standing.


Other leading companies on the top list Volvo, Scania and SKF among others from retail and services to manufacturing, show that  Swedish firms continue to hold strong public confidence.  These results highlight how long‑established brands, with consistent performance and transparent values, earn enduring respect and trust among Swedish consumers and stakeholders.

Nobel Prize Day

On December 10, 2025, the world will celebrate Nobel Prize Day in Stockholm, honouring individuals and organisations whose work has made extraordinary contributions to science, literature, and peace. 

Established by the will of Alfred Nobel, these awards recognise achievements that advance knowledge, inspire innovation, and promote global well-being. Nobel Prize Day is not only a moment to celebrate groundbreaking discoveries and ideas but also to reflect on the power of human ingenuity to shape a better future.

To Step Up Resilience to Climate Change Risks

ASML leads the way, investing over €3 billion in 2024 - more than the next nine companies combined - while Booking.com shows the fastest growth among major investors.

National AI Delta Plan

AI is transforming economies, jobs, and society, yet the Netherlands risks falling behind, relying on foreign systems that shape our future. 

The AI Delta Plan outlines 52 recommendations to boost computing power, AI adoption, talent retention, democratic oversight, and national innovation projects.
