In November last year, we conducted our Member Survey to better understand which services, activities, and key values offered by the Chamber matter most to our members, as well as how they wish to engage more with the Chamber’s activities.

The survey, which engaged Patron, Corporate, Private, and Young Professionals, saw a remarkable 94.6% increase in responses, with an impressive 216% rise in participation from Young Professionals compared to the previous year. These results not only highlight the strong engagement within our community but also provide clear direction for future improvements and initiatives.

“The reflections from members after the survey are very important—to see how the market is perceived, to understand their real challenges, and to hear what should be done and what needs to be changed.”

Swedish Chamber hosts Dutch Chamber Event in Amsterdam

Last week, we had the honour of hosting the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Sweden’s event, How to establish your organisation in Sweden, at our office in Amsterdam. It was an engaging session featuring inspiring speakers, including Torbjörn Lindmark from Eversheds Sutherland, Fredrik Nilsson and Erik Hedlund from BDO, and Karolina Conrad from Söderberg & Partners. They provided valuable insights into the challenges companies may encounter when establishing themselves in Sweden.

This event was an excellent example of the value of collaboration between the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands and the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Sweden. We would like to thank all partners for the great teamwork and we are looking forward to continuing these meaningful exchanges in the future.

Did you know that women spend 25% more of their lives in poor health than men? This discrepancy is largely due to women’s health issues often being overlooked, misdiagnosed, or shrouded in mystery. Research by the World Economic Forum, in collaboration with the McKinsey Health Institute, highlights the vast potential for change: closing the health gap between men and women could unlock 75 million disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) and contribute $1 trillion to the global economy each year.
