The brochure “In case of crisis or war” will soon be delivered to over five million households in Sweden

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) began mailing out the latest version of the brochure on November 18. Every household in the country, totalling 5.2 million, received the brochure over a period of two weeks.


The digital version was published on msb.se in October and had been downloaded approximately 55,000 times by the time the mailing of the printed version started. This was the fifth brochure of its kind to be published since the Second World War.

   
   
   

Ingka Group has completed the acquisition of Ikano Bank to enhance its financial services for IKEA customers

On October 17, 2024 Ingka Group 

announced the completion of the full acquisition of Ikano Bank AB (publ), following the required approvals from regulatory authorities. With this acquisition, Ingka Group becomes the sole owner of Ikano Bank, further strengthening its ability to offer affordable and accessible financial services to IKEA customers. 


As part of this transition, changes to the board of directors and management at Ikano Bank will come into effect.

Sweco to design new regional hospital for relocated city of Kiruna

Sweden’s northernmost city Kiruna is being relocated three kilometres to the east, due to the expansion of the iron ore mine which is the town’s primary economic resource. In this major urban transformation project, Sweco has been awarded the prestigious task of designing and planning the new regional hospital and its surroundings. The client is the local authority Region Norrbotten and the new hospital is expected to be ready around 2029–2031.

November 14, Equal Pay Day: Women Still Work for Free

We are pleased to present an insightful article by Victor Steenbakker, at our Member Company, Montae & Partners, highlighting the Equal Pay Day.

In the Netherlands, there is an ongoing issue of unequal pay between men and women. On average, women still earn less than men for the same work, despite advancements in gender equality.
